25th August 2019:  On the occasion of Amra Kajan Diwas 2019 which commemorates the birth anniversary of our beloved founder Late Shri Prasanta Majumder, the Amra Kajan Boys' Club organized a Sit and Draw Contest wherein artists from across the city were invited to participate and showcase their artistic skills in the form of paintings. The Sunday morning of  25th August saw young students with a knack of drawing and painting come in huge numbers to draw their skills on the drawing paper and compete with their fellows. The event began at 11:00 am at the club premises. The paintings of the participants shall be judged by a competent jury and the results shall be declared in the evening.

Amra Kajan Diwas is an annual event of the club which is held on 28th August every year. The week-long celebrations begin from the preceding Sunday where young artists are invited to participate in a Sit and Draw Contest. The event marks its end on the 28th of August which is the birth anniversary of the founder of the club Late Sri Prasanta Majumder. On that day the club reiterates its commitment towards the growth of the society through a Blood Donation Camp. The events are held at the premises of the club and are attended by enthusiasts from all across the city.
