Amra Kajan Pays Homage to Legendary Actor Soumitra Chatterjee

Biday Apu! With deep grief and sorrow we pay our homage to legendary superstar Late Shri Soumitra Chatterjee. A truly charismatic man and above all a fine human being who stood with the people at times of hardships, Soumitra babu will be remembered for generations to come. Fondly remember as Feluda or Apu, he has done over 300 films. He has left behind a rich legacy of Bengali art and culture. As a mark of respect towards the legend, we observed 2 mins of silence and switched off all lights and music today evening at the Shyama Puja premises. This was followed by a brief obituary message and few of his iconic poems were played. We wish to see Felu Babu once again, this time in a new adventure of a new life!.
